Grey Knight Commission, Part 2 (Dread Knight #2 and Dreadnaught)

Dread Knight #2 has been broke down and conversion has started.

First we started with the base in order to set the pose.



While we let that set we worked on completing the Rifleman Dreadnaught

Once the base was set we started with the Dreadknight.

Thats it for now as the target date for completion is coming up the next post will not be until we have completed this commission.  We will have WIP pictures and the completed project posted.

Grey Knight Commission, Part 2 (Dread Knight #1)

Dread Knight #1 Conversion/Modification Complete

All green work has been completed and just needs to set before we do a little sanding touch up then prime and painting begins. Here are some pictures for the clients review.

Work on Dread Knight #2 has started, check back for update.

Not happy with the way the Dread Knight was holding the head and was to busy and taking away from the model some adjustments are being made.

More Green Work

Received word last night that a 3rd part of this commission will be headed our way.  Client has received a Forge World Landraider.....

NEW IN THE STUDIO

Just a little update on what we have been doing.

Working on the 2nd part of the Grey Knight commission and is reaching the point of completion. Have received some feed back from the client and he is very happy with the way things are turning out. We have slowed down on the White Scar commission in order to meet the dead line for the Grey Knights but will soon have our full focus again. The Client has requested to add a Storm Talon to the commission so we are awaiting receipt of the model.

Well we have a new tool in the studio. Can not wait to start using it. The compressor has been ordered as the one we wanted was out of stock.

Next item on the list will be a camera. We have also been building a light box or photo box in order to improve the picture quality.

Our client has requested that we break down and repose the Dread Knight, the following pictures are for the client's review. We where given artiest freedom to the posing and basing of both Dread Knights.

Welcome to Toxic Studio 13

The Beginning.....

   This will be a chronicle of our adventures in commission painting and modeling to army building and maybe some gaming. The intent is so that our clients will be able to watch the progress of the commission and provide feedback on the work as it is being completed. Hopefully they will provide this blog to others that ask about works that we have completed for them. As we are firm believers that the best advertisement is word of mouth.
