Lord of Plague conversion

Working on a Lord of Skulls to be converted to a Lord of Plague.

The vats are being filled with water effects and colored to look like a green slime that matches the green slime on the Forgefiend / Maulerfiend that I completed earlier this year.  Will be posting more pics latter this week.

Toys for Tots Results

Well for my first tournament in over a year and a half I would have to say I did fairly well.  The best part was that I went in to have a good time and walked away at the end having 3 really good games with 3 really good opponents that lead to some really enjoyable games.

My first game was against Pat from the 11th company.  He was playing Daemons (FMC) with CSM allied.  I did ended up loosing, but learned a little more about the Daemons and tactics.  Pat, thank you very much for the input and the game.

My second game was against Space Marines.  It was a Raven Gard successor chapter.  The game ended with me tabling at the end of five.  I picked up first blood, slay the warlord, line breaker and capturing all 3 objectives with a last second rush at the end of 5.

Round 3 was against White Scars w/ Blood Angels allied.  I was able to get first blood, slay the warlord, line breaker and keep my objective from being contested and killing all his troops on his.

I ended up placing 6th out of 24 and ended up collecting the most Battle Points in the tournament. 

The event raised over $1000.00 again this year and beating the amount raised last year.  

Overall summary it was a good event and I had a really good time and look forward to next year and the next event.

Toys for Tots Tournament

Well it's time for the annual Toys for Tots Tournament.  It's been a real long time since I played in any tournament, last time I entered one was back when 5th edition was about 6 months from being replaced with 6th.  But this is for a good cause and all the money raised goes to Toys for Tots.  A lot of good GT players will be their today about 7-8.  The turn out is expected to be about 30 players.  Last year they raise over $1000 and plan on beating that number this year.

I plan on running my Circus of Fate with the allied CSM (Be'lakor and cultist) provided the TO approves.  If not then I'll just throw in another Daemon Prince and upgrade the Pink Horrors to fit in at 1850.

I use the Exalted rewards to pick up the Grimoire of True Names, Portalglyph for the Daemon Princes and the Eternal Blade for the Bloodthirster.  Then based on the point value of the game upgrade the # of Pink Horrors in the squad or additional units like Flesh Hounds, Bloodcrushers or even another Daemon Prince. 

Well with the release of Be'lakor and this weeks League night being 1850, core list plus 400 points CSM allied into the list and off we go.

Be'lakor allowed me focus more on the Biomancy for the other 2 Daemon princes for buffs.  The game plan was simple, Bloodthirster on point rushing up to the biggest threat first to kick the door in.  Using Be'lakor and the other Daemon Princes following throwing buffs and de-buffs behind my Bloodthirster.  This will  allow them to come in and provide clean up and support. Using Fateweaver and the Pink Horrors providing the third wave into the enemy forces and fire support.  The Troops spawned from the Portaglyph and cultist from the allied detachment to seek out objectives and sit.

It was a overwhelming assault on my opponent's force hitting them with dominate, puppet master, misfortune and enfeeble.

The game ended at the top of turn 3, with a score of 5-0.

I've been running and building my daemon army for about the last 3 maybe 4 months top and running a 11-2 record.  I have been having a lot of fun with this army game wise and modeling.
